Mural by Norma S. Gutierrez
Painted Summer 2020
“AND STILL WE RISE"  is a visual homage dedicated to the historical struggle for justice of black and brown people. It tells a tale through time using symbols of strength, light, peace, and love. Inspired by the life and words of Maya Angelou.
“Through art I hope to inspire and awaken something in everyone"
