(The roof was just fixed so there will be no more sludge dripping down the side of the building.)
Margaret Kops Kuveke is a recent Cornell psychology graduate and life-long artist raised in Ithaca, New York. In the past few years, she has worked with Ithaca Murals to bring her art to the public eye and help bring beauty to Ithaca walls. She often draws inspiration from her mother’s Mi’kmaq heritage, incorporating Indigenous references into her incredible art.

Margaret proposed a mural for CCE entitled “Nya:wëh". The mural is inspired by aspects of the Thanksgiving Address. Margaret’s hope is to instill viewers with a feeling of interconnectedness and gratitude for the world around us and all it has to offer through her project. Here is an image of the proposal here. (The building roof was just redone and now longer has the discoloration dripping down the wall).
